OPENING DOORS TO A GREENER TOMORROW.

For every apartment lease signed, Crescent Communities will donate a tree to be planted.

Crescent Communities is proud to partner with nonprofits across the country to expand the urban tree canopy.

BECAUSE HOPE FOR A GREENER FUTURE STARTS AT HOME.

TREES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF OUR COMMUNITIES,

providing shade, oxygen, protection from wind and noise, food and shelter for wildlife, filtering stormwater, reducing energy consumption, increasing home values and offsetting carbon emissions.

OUR PARTNERS

Crescent Communities partners with area nonprofits that align with the Tree for a Key mission. Crescent Dilworth was the pilot community in this program. Trees were added for Crescent Dilworth leases during 2015 and 2016. Three new properties, Novel NoDa, Novel Stonewall Station and Novel Providence Farm were added to the program in Charlotte, NC.

Trees Charlotte

TreesCharlotte is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy with the goal of attaining 50% tree canopy by 2050.

OUR PROGRESS

Crescent Communities is committed to sustainable development and giving back to our local communities. The Tree for a Key initiative was first implemented with Crescent Dilworth in 2015 and since that time, we have planted 593 trees throughout the city of Charlotte. With the addition of three new properties to the program – Novel NoDa, Novel Stonewall Station and Novel Providence Farm – we anticipate that we will add an additional 800 trees to the tree canopy in 2018.

For over half a century, Crescent Communities has helped define moments that matter for everyone that lives, works and plays at our properties. Our mission is to create residential, commercial, multi-family and land developments that cultivate communities with lasting legacies.
